6 beautiful degrees!

Hamilton Harbour Macassa Bay

When its blowing 15 or so at the Burlington Pier, it’s a good bet that the west end of the harbour is blowing 15-20 and that is exactly what happened today! Cool ENE wind with mostly sunny skies prevailed. Knocked down some work in the morning and got on the water around 12:30 with Don Z. We sailed till after 3:00 with only a couple of brief breaks. The steady wind gradually picked up thru the afternoon, producing 2-3 feet wave heights in the middle and some sweet jibing conditions closer to the north shore. Woohoo!! After missing the Halloween gale and some of the great wind earlier this month due to work and travel, it felt really great to be back in the straps. Now Friday is showing the possibility of some good west wind. Bring in on!
