Worth the drive!
Lake Erie Long Beach
Made the trek down to long beach yesterday after reading littlewings post. Nice to meet you littlewing and Eric - thanks for the warm welcome and local advice on conditions. Fathom, was great to meet you again. It was really awesome to go sailing with what about 20 others (?) on the water yesterday. Like the good ol' days. I had never sailed long beach before and had a great day. Wind was gusty and strong. Water was warm with a crazy, confused chop. It made for challenging and intense sailing. I got to try my 4.5 maplefreak and quattro 75 freestyle wave combo which is new to me. It took some tinkering but was happy with both performance. Another windy day and will be comfortable with rig I think. All in all had a great day. Met some nice people. Sailed a new spot. Very cool.
Body feels broken today......can't wait for the next windy day!
