smooth and fast... considering the wind was only 15kmh or so. this was just my second time out on the 'new' freeskate, wasnt so sure about it first time, seemed to go from putting along to ohno!! way too fast, but after a few runs today the acceleration and speed get addictive, as well as the 'like on rails' jibes. but, this was in very light breeze, still have to try in higher winds...and i think padding is going to be a must.
a couple of dn60 iceboats came out as well, but, surprisingly they could hardly get moving while i was still moving pretty good. im sure if the wind had picked up theyd have been killing it.
anyway, got to recommend it as a great hard water alternative.
does time on frozen water count?
