I always swore I would never sail Hamilton Bay......looked like all the wind and waves you could want lake side but it just wasn't touching down. Thanks to Don who was our wind pigeon. The group headed to P4 and we followed.
Challenging launch! Rocky..... swim to the wind line and water start.....and that water start needs to be solid. Also the ability to stay up wind. Otherwise there were nice little waves and pretty constant wind.
Great guys to sail with....lots of fun!
Exciting end to the day with the EMS, Police, Marine Police and Fire Dept. showing up because of the report of a drowning.....I think someone saw a little sailboat from the sailing club get turned turtle and calledl it in. They had righted and gone by the time everyone arrived to help....hope that is all it was.
