the nine lives of the megacat..

lake ontario port hope

must be getting close the ninth,, finally got around to patchin her up..again. but amazingly the hull is still well under 30lbs..

soo, back in the water with it today..actually another really nice day..more kinda zen then adrenaline, put the mastrack forward, daggerboard down, and cruise upwind.. whilewatching kite buddy on his 15m and surfboard struggled to hold ground..haha..

went way upwind, past the waste water treatment plant, past the iron foundry, almost to the uranium refinery..beautiful,.. in a simpsonesque kind of way... then the nice long cruise back..got some decnt gusts..some nice glidey swells.. a sunny day.. its all good..

i still do like the megacat better than the equipe though, patches and all.
