Sorry, driving away to NY.
Have fun if you're out (and be safe). Today looked good from the East.
Wide open water.

12.30pm report from MCP: Light rain, waves starting to foarm nicely on the inside, winds.., not so great. Guess if I had to rig it would be 5.8 on a 95l board and not sure if that would pe powered enough! Air temp is cool and the water looks coooold! 2 surfers out trying to catch a wave.....they're in the water alot! 2 Kiters out, one was doing OK and the other decided to decotate a tree with his kite just before I came up. Guess the effort is too great with too little reward to sacrifice work .... so back to work it is for me! (though may go back down in a couple hrs to double check!)

I went to Frenchman's thinking that some kiters might be there. Wind was off side- side- off, swirly near shore going off shore, but I'm not going alone in these conditions. Went to Ajax waterfront park more off shore-ish, went to the bottom of Lakeridge and it was ripping and nice clean waves, no sailors, and this is definitely not a place to play alone. It will bite you when things go wrong. Came home like a pathetic sap, and typed up this.
Years ago I would go in a heart beat, but somehow the reality of being 45 having four kids and being the primary bread winner and the my injuries all resonates in my head now.
